Holly Lombardo of World Fringe was invited to talk at the inaugural NoFringe in Bergen.
The Fringe organisers wanted their Fringe Festival to be put on the global map and for their funders and supporters to hear about Fringe Festivals across the world, why Fringe is important and what Fringe Festivals can bring to to town, city and country.
They had a round table discussion with the municipality and council officials plus leaders from the chamber of commerce and important venues in Bergen.
Holly was with Steve Gove of Prague Fringe and Adam From STOFF Stockholm Fringe
The outcome was successful and they managed to secure more funding!
Holly says "There are some amazing spaces in Bergen, what a brilliant Fringe festival! It is so impressive that it hadn't even had one full Fringe when I went! here is to Year two!"
